Which guitar to buy?

    Ok so I am getting an electro-acoustic guitar. I am wondering what guitar people recommend me to get....... most i am gonna pay is 350.

    any thoughts? I am thinking the Yamaha APX 500.

    same advice ALWAYS.

    set a budget (you have)

    decide the style of instrument you want (you have)

    get round as many shops as possible and play every guitar in your budget, including those WAY under..... you might just be suprised!

    check out used too, you get a 500 euro guitar for 350 because someone else has looked after it for a while..... can't be bad!!

    dont write off an non pick up guitar if it sings out to you. a pickup can be fitted later.

    as to Yamaha guitars?

    not too shabby, I had a FG 420-12 for nearly 20 years. it was the most stable, never needing tuned 12 string I've ever seen.
