Has anyone been affected by what is happening between those two stations today? I hope this problem is not as serious as it sounds.

There seems to be confusion here as to whether north or southbound trains are operating or not. There are no details of trains running from Bray/Greystones to Dun Laoghaire.

What I never get about these problems and the way they are reported is that they normally only ever refer to northbound or southbound services being affected.

In reality, if southbound services are delayed then northbound will also be affected after some time. If a train is late into Bray by 20 minutes, then the retuen journey it is scheduled to work is also going to be late. Maybe not by 20 minutes, but definitely late.

Both the evening departures from bray to maynooth and longford are back as far as blackrock even further back.

Latest estimations say maynooth will get into Connolly around 18.50 with the longford leaving around the same time as the 19:05 to sligo

Just as I thought; I found out on Twitter that my local station Seapoint had the problem all along. I wonder what have caused it in the first place?

The guy off Rail Users Ireland was having a right old barny with Irish Rail on Twitter over the lack of clear information about this serious disruption to services.
