Hi All, I have a bit of an issue regarding how to Keep my No claims bonus.
Right here goes I am currently insured on a car and I have 7 years NCB I also have a classic car on classic car insurance for a couple of months my fiancee also has a car with her down as the sole driver.

I have recently got a new job with a company car insurance will be covered by the new employer under their policy. I plan to sell my current car and my classic car my, fiancee will keep her car.

Is there a way to keep my NCB built up on my current car?what are my options i may keep the classic car as insurance is cheap but i dont think this policy keeps the NCB current.I know i have two years grace to renew any suggestions?

You are right, your earned no claims bonus will survive for 2yrs, subject that you keep clean record on company car.

as for classic car , if your partner is keeping her everyday car then re-insure the classic car udner her name with your as additional driver.

if by end of 2yr gap you are still on company car use YOU MUST cover some car to re-ignite your policy record -- if in doubt Pm me if you need more assistance

You'll have to take out another policy within two years.
