Hey folks, I'm just trying to save a little time ringing around here. But would anyone know of cheap enough van hire in Dublin. I'm thinking a van the size of the smaller Transit or a VW caddy. I'd only need it for maybe 6 hours. I'm a cyclist (don't hate me) so I've no car insurance of my own. Thanks in advance...

These are reasonable and will also cover screeds.

Yeah, I've found enterprise to have the handiest approach to insurance. Handy if you're with a "paper in the windscreen" type insurance company who charge silly money for transfers or won't transfer to commercial vehicles.

    What size?

Ikea do 24 hour rentals for €60. Have used it before. Very handy for moving house. That was for a LWB transit

I had to rent a van for the weekend last week. Used this people National truck rental

Cost me 74 euro for two days, a ford transit van, plus insurance, that was another 80 euro. but you can tranfer your current car insurance and save 80 euro i couldnt transfer mine for several reason but most importantly bcuz it is a comercial vehicle
