Homemade candy cab advice

I am planning to build a candy cab this summer. Originally I was looking at the Sega Aero Table but I think it might be too hard to get the vinyl smooth over all the surfaces.

I am now looking at the Sega Net City upright. Does anyone have a shell of you that I could buy or a full one that I could get the measurements of. Arcade Otaku has the measurements as 980 (968 upright) x 760 x 1750 (2030 upright), I would need alot more measurements. Basically every straight line and the angle of all the parts.

    Any help would be great.

Why don't you buy a Naomi (they're pretty cheap) and cut it down so it looks like a New Net City? There'd be a load of work in it, so you'd get your creative fix plus end up with something which is a genuine cab.

Id say your better off buying a Naomi from scratch too,
loads of restore guides on ones in poor shape on Otaku.

But if you find a way to build from scratch far dues,
If Building from srcatch I think a Vewlix Cab is lot easier than a Candy as its got lots straightlines and build part by part, and can throw in LCD, Speakers, 360, and such a lot easier...
