hardi sprayer

    I'm going to look at a hardi sprayer tomorrow. i was wondering is there any faults or things to look out for when looking at them thanks

    This is the one that i'm going looking at

    Hardi Sparyer 200 litre

    ill be using it for rushes

    we have one for years, never had a days bother with it, can be a bit of a dose trying to fit the pump to pto at times, i think the newer versions had the pump attached to the sprayer,.

    get him to run it, if the pump is quite and all the nozzles are free its all good, not a lot to them really, 200liters is small enough dow, you wont be covering a lot of ground with it.

    ring ahead and get him to have it on the tractor with water onboard and run it while you check it. check its holding pressure steady circa 2bar with all the nozzles working and no leaks.

    I have one. Rougher than that one. I think I gave €150 for it last year and spent another €150 in parts (nozzels and so on mostly). Parts are damn pricey at the stealer.

    I don't do much with it, only about 20 acres so far, but it works grand. I must do some tidying on the booms in mine though.

    its hard to find a good sparyer cheap as there all around 800-900 euro its a pity.ur one at that price it was a give away :D
