    Bit of a strange question but does anyone out there remember the exact date in 1997 that the South Bank Show aired on Irish tv? :)

    My other half and I were talking about it last night and we were just trying to pinpoint it in time as it was around the time we hooked up. Had a bit of a google but nothing came up. It was aired in the UK quite a bit before that.

    Irish times archive has possible matches 13/12/97 and 4/10/97 for "south bank lang" in 1997.
    Unfortunately I have the crazy notion that €400 is a bit excessive for a 1 year subscription to the full archive so I can't read the details of the matches.

    According to this the original airdate was 1/10/95

    That's great. I think it's the December date that I was after. Thanks a lot for finding that out for me.
