Need a running wallet for a car key

Looking to get a running wallet that will take a few coins. I have looked around and I want to carry a car key and house key. Most of them seem too small for a car key. The key is this one so its a big enough one. http://uobd2.com/upload/pro/2010-toyota-corolla-keyless-entry-remote-key.jpg Would love a velcro one. I have been tieing it to my shoe laces but one pair of runners I have has a tendency to open and when these keys cost like a few hundred 100 to get replaced. I know you might say what about a pocket. My problem there is that I wear cheap shorts and don't believe in paying 25-30 for a pair which are the ones with a small pocket. Is there an alternative ?

Tie the key into the draw string and bring a €5 note instead of coins and put in a small button bag in the small inside pocket.

What about an armband wallet, something like this:

I use one of these? Clips under your shoe lace and and secured further when you tie your lace, not a chance of opening or falling off whilst you train.

    And now the sales speak:

    Nike Running Shoe Wallet
Talk about traveling light. The Nike Running Shoe Wallet holds keys, ID, money or other small essentials in a compact case that clips on to your shoelaces. Expandable stretch pocket Reflective stripe

Couldn't deal with something on my arm, would either dig in or fall down all the time. Thanks though http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nike-Running-Wallet-schwarz-Gr-UNI/dp/B003P3B1HU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1337247841&sr=8-4 Review says "I bought this in hopes it would hold my car key (which is a bit large due to the fact the key includes the unlock/lock/trunk/panic buttons) when I ran. It was not large enough to hold the key however I have used to hold my house key which fits perfect! I've also used it on race day and found it light enough to not notice a thing when you run! "

bought a pair last week. has zip pocket. may have some left in stores - maybe check in your local one. they had 3 types of shorts - you want the one with inner lining - that for certain has pocket with zip.

I kindof don't really want to change my shorts as I am very picky about the shorts I wear. Find it very hard to find a pair I like. Hence why I am looking for a running wallet. Also as I sometimes run 9-10 times a week a wallet would be cheaper as I would need a lot of pairs of shorts. Don't like anything above the elbow. I used to wear an ipod nano arm strap like this http://s3.amazonaws.com/wootsaleimages/Apple_Nike_Sport_Armband_Case_for_Gen_4_iPod_NanokwsDetail.jpg for the car key but wearing above the elbow mean's it moves, falls down, digs in etc. I actually bought one of these but it never came. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160515246279?item=160515246279&pt=Apparel_Merchandise&cmd=ViewItem&hash=item255f7448c7&vxp=mtr This one looks good. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/S-Kuff-SWEATBAND-wrist-wallet-purse-gym-card-keys-coins-/150799280930?pt=UK_Purses_Wallets&var=&hash=item68ca8a4993 but it would get really manky. Sometime like this but made with stuff the the ipod nano case is what I am looking for.

Wiggle has some wrist wallets - might that kind of thing do?

Or would you consider a spibelt for around the waist/hips? I have the Nathan version and I don't feel it when it's on.

This is a dose alright. Currently I wear cheap mittens and keep my door and car key inside one of them as I run. Not ideal, but I manage. Couldn't do it witha bunch of keys though.

I bought a pair of those lidl shorts with the zip at the back. Running a race last weekend, I found my keys trying to poke their way out the bottom of the pocket. Not to be trusted! Like the shorts though.
