Just after agreeing to buy a house and what to know:
    1. what costs are involved,
    2. procedures,
    3. what am i entitled to
    4. Interest relief - how to apply
Basically as much guidance as possible.

House is a semi detached for 210,000. Owner as agreed to leave beds and wardrobes.

Mortgage has been approved by AIB.

I have agreed a few of €1,100 with a solicitor.

I know stamp duty is 1%.

Between the solicitor and bank, they should walk you through the steps. I'm in the same situation as you at present.

Make sure you bring a few spare lightbulbs when you move in. Also, was there a nice kitchen that you thought was nice? Wonder will it be there when you move in?

I think Mortgage Relief stops for everyone at end of 2017, so you would get about 5 and half years of it!

Aren't these the kinds of things you should learn about before agreeing to buy a house?

I held back on posting that earlier. Beggars belief.
