I found this out on RTE Aertel Digital this evening.

Because Three Rock is in a SFN with Kippure, and the transmissions from Three Rock are completely shut off, most people with proper setups who can see Kippure should still receive full service.

RTE's 3 rock digital service seems to be off air all TV and Radio channels.

Just a warning in case folks think their TV's / Boxes are banjaxed.

    Ae.

Is Three Rock down today? No signal here.

I get my signal from the Greystones relay. It's not down, but there are significant breaks in the reception every couple of seconds. Are others having this issue? I don't know how Greystones is fed with the signal - but would assume a microwave link.

    Mine wasn't on air.

My Saorview STB was not working at even near to 1 O'Clock today. I was going mad with the bloody thing not even working. It may have been a simple error in the details. It is working fine now; with some relief.

Kippure uses the same frequency as Three Rock, you were probably picking up signal from there. There is also work at the Kippure site but only affecting VHF analogue transmissions.

The coverage checker doesn't take short term outages into account.
