Anyone order from http://www.shootercbgear.com before ?

Have an order sent to me since April 17th via speedpost airmail
and they provided me with a tracking number which is recognized by
Hong Kong post but once it left Hong Kong its not recognized by an-post
    tracking system.

Getting a little worried now that it may not turn up.
In all my dealings with stuff from Hong Kong I've never waited this
long for something sent via airmail.

Wondering how long more I should wait before I start to query it
    with them.

We had a similar issue in work; we ordered from a new supplier in the first week of March, and thanks to selecting the wrong shipping method (thanks to my absolute genius-ness!), 10 weeks surface mail, it only arrived on Monday. Now the thing about that was it had the exact same problem you had - tracking number worked until it left Hong Kong.

I would strongly recommend contacting them, just to be sure. You only have 45 days to reclaim funds in the event of goods not arriving with Paypal, and I think it's 30-45 days with Credit Cards...so it's getting close to deadline.

In all likelihood customs have it, and aren't ringing you. I had that problem not too long ago as well. They hung onto an order for 10 days without phoning - I had no idea where it was, and it was cleared in 10 minutes on the phone

anytime customs have held stuff on me I'd get an ol letter in the post
after a few days demanding a paypal receipt but no sign of it yet,
(and I noticed with Irish Customs its usually about 10 days after the goods arrive into the country before the letter arrives
    looking for vat etc)

Dont like the way the an-post website fails to see the tracking number though and it definitely was sent via airmail.

I would normally Only buy Irish but since I was ordering some pretty
unique and obscure items (half scale model guns) I ordered direct from China
instead of putting an Irish retailers through the pain and torment of doing me a special order.

Definitely worth firing an email off to them at the very least - just keep an eye on the time frame, and be ready to file the complaint I guess. I know it sounds harsh/drastic, especially because it probably is just taking its time getting here, but it is that little bit worrying :(

I use shootercbgear quite alot and have never once had a problem, I use the HK normal airmail(not speed post) as I found it ALWAYS skips customs so I don't get hit with vat or handling fees. Usually it would arrive within 10 working days of order so I'd definitely say customs have it. Anything speed post is always directed to customs. Did you check your post to make sure customs haven't mailed you a letter asking you to email them a copy of the receipt? Happened to me before with another order.

If they haven't, like Inari says, get ready to hit the dispute button with Paypal

yep anytime I order from China I'm checking the post every single day
and hitting F5 like a maniac on the tracking (when it works) Usually once it hits Ireland
I become paranoid think the worst and wait for stuff to be siezed/stopped/destroyed or sent for testing (with full sized guns) the relief comes when
you get the letter only asking for Duty etc.
