Has anyone gone to Lagos surfing?
I have booked a flight to Faro and want to get to Lagos to surf.
    I have some surfing experience.
    I am going solo.
I want to hook up with a surf camp.
I would like to mix 5 days 2 sessions per day of surfing plus nights out.
    I am 35.

    My questions are:

There are so many companies does anyone recommend one?
Would you just rent a car and turn up in Lago's ?
Or would you recommend a company.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi!

My family have a villa in sagres its about 20 mins from lagos. Sorry I have 0 experience with surfing we do wind surfing down our end but just in regards to car hire, I would recommend booking online before you go. You get much better deals also Faro is a very busy airport so personally I wouldnt chance turning up with out a car booked. Alternatively there are some taxi companies that do a journey for €100 each way or a bus for €25 each way. If you are staying in Lagos you might not need a car unless you want to travel around outside of lagos.

Also if you are flying ryanair to Faro they are very very very strict on baggage on the way home! They love charging excess!

Lagos is a lovely part of Portugal! If you do went a car take a trip down the coast down to sagres theres loads of amazing beaches on the way down!

Lagos is great for nights out there is always something going on it can be expensive thou compared to the likes of spain. Theres a really nice restaurant called el patio its up by the 3 monkeys pub on one of the side streets its really really nice but gets booked up so you would have to reseve it but well worth it!
