    So I posted in a thread here before but it got deleted due to an unrelated post to mine. Anyways I was wondering how to transfer funds from my online AIB account to my PayPal one and someone told me to do this:

    This is how I do it:

    I'm taking it that you are registered for Online Banking:

    Transfers and Payments / I want to transfer money to another ROI account /

    Go to "paypal.ie" / Top Up Account

    and enter the details here on the AIB transfer page, which should be:

    Beneficiary name PAYPAL PTE LTD
    Bank Bank of America N.A., Dublin


    Which worked fine that time. This time I went straight to my AIB account, manage payees and topped up my PayPal account by 15 euro. However when I checked my PayPal the money hadn't gone in but it is gone from my AIB account! I thought it was instant, what's going on?

    Your last thread wasn't deleted, it was closed. And read the Sticky on Paypal as your question is answered in it. Transfers are not instant, and never have been.
