Painting apartment, where to get the paint?

    Hi all,

Was just hoping maybe someone in here could be so good as to advise me, I've got to paint my apartment (standard 2 double beds, hall, bathroom, kitchen, sitting room) and I'm wondering where to go for a good deal on paint.

Been quoted from a well-known supplier €98 for two 10 litre buckets of a neutral off-white/magnolia. Doesn't sound bad to me but they'd be known as one of the more expensive suppliers and I'm just trying to get a guide on what I should expect to pay elsewhere. Google has yielded plenty of colour charts but little in the way of actual prices.

It's a rental property and the tenants are happy with a uniform colour throughout, and it doesn't need to be premium quality although I'd prefer if it was decent stuff that will do a good 5 years, preferably washable.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

98euros sounds good to me, I'm not an expert but my husband painted the hall last week and got a very good deal from a friend of his in a paint shop of 30euro for albeit a coloured matt washable paint (colour Lauren for anyone who's interested :D) so for magnolia and 10 x 2 litres doesn't sound too bad at all. Though I'm bound to be disputed here.

98 euro for 20 litres of Magnolia paint...Is the paint tub made of gold then??:eek:

More like 25 euro for a 10 litres of Fleetwood washable shoft sheen Magnolia from Fleetwood Trade Paints. So 50 euro all in for 20 litres.

I buy all my interior paints from fleetwood trade.I use soft sheen washable paint,as its a tough paint and can be wiped down with a wet sponge.
