Can't access ms sites with tethered Galaxy S Plus

I am connecting to the internet on my desktop PC using a tethered Galaxy S Plus to connect to a broadband router through wifi. And it works fine except that it wont load microsoft sites like live.ie, live.com or hotmail.com. If I go to internet on the phone and visit these sites, they load fine.

I also tried to play the game League of Legends, but it wont connect to the server.

So anyone know why these sites won't work over the tethered connection, and if there is a fix?
