im just wondering is there a uk equivalent of a garda id card or official id? i know there used to be the national identification card but they stopped doing that a while ago, is there anything else? in my mid 20s but im still getting asked for id and i dont like bringing my passport about so any help would be much…

If it's proving your age for nightclubs etc that you're after, PASS is what you want. There are a few options available by the look of it.

Alternatively, you could get a driver's licence.
