Continuous Assessments

Could anyone tell me if you fail (or don't do) exams for continuous assessments, can you make up the marks any other way. Most of the marks for two of my subjects are for continuous assessments (100 marks, five exams @ 20 marks per exam. I know I have failed both orals as well, basically because I missed a few months of college. I could be wasting my time doing exams if I have no way of making up the marks as the exams next week only account for 50 marks for one and 70 for the other. Any advise would be appreciated.:(

Depends on if you were sick and had certs or just didn't do them...also depends on the dept. and module, check the book of modules to see if CA is repeatable, but generally it isn't. Best to have a word with relevant lecturers or head of dept I'd say to see what you can do about it - if they don't know there's a problem they can't help you, so the sooner you let them know the better.
