Just a quick query that someone might be able to help me with regarding to the email set up of the HTC.
I've just got the phone this week and having transferred from the Blackberry Bold 9900 I was hoping to avail of push email. I've merged my eircom address into my Gmail but can't seem to get push email working on the phone in either the regular mail client, the gmail app or the k9 mail app. Could someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong?
I turned smart sync to 5 mins, thinking it would update every 5 mins but to no avail. Any help would be welcomed.

if you are using the Gmail app on the phone you have to have Background data and Auto Sync turned on.

Go Settings, Accounts & Sync, turn Auto-Sync on. Click on the Google account and make sure Sync Gmail is turned on.

I only use my gmail account on my phone and Push works no bother from that.

I've got problem with company email running on exchange 2010. When I configure exchange access it will ask me to encrypt the phone. When I do that Bluetooth stop working and even games wouldn't run properly. My phone is running on custom Roman arid 6 1.29 firmware. Any suggestions?
