Eindhoven or Amsterdam

    Looking to head to Amsterdam or Eindhoven on a p!ss up with about 6 friends. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on both places?

    Are they expensive, is nightlife good etc. etc.

    There's noting in Eindhoven only shops, it's like a bad shopping mall. It was blown to bits during world war II and they rebuilt it like a shopping center, it's fine for a stop off going to belgium or somewhere like that but not for a lads weekend. Go to Amsterdam there's no comparison.

    Eindhoven is a great place for a night out and shopping etc, but for a good p!ss up it has to be Amsterdam.
    Btw are you aware of the new law that just came into effect in the Netherlands? In short if you want to get a "Dutch coffee";-) in Eindhoven you have to be a Dutch national (ID check), whereas anyone can still buy "Dutch coffee" in Amsterdam (the new law ony affects the southern provinces of the Netherlands at the moment).
