Sky+HD box blue screen recordings

Dont know if anyone else is having this problem, I have a Samsung Sky+ HD 1TB box with a basic sub and am getting problems intermittently with recorded programs.

I`m not getting " failed recordings". On the planner everything is showing up as recorded, but some of the recordings, and it seems totally random, have no content in them. The recorded time will show up as 60 minutes or whatever, but when I press play all there is is a blue screen.

Anyone else having similar issues and have a solution?

Try swapping over the two cables from the dish. LNB1 and 2. Also have you checked the signal levels from both cables. Google how to check the signal level on a Sky box.

Compare the two. They should be both the same and about 3/4

Thanks for the input. I have tried swapping the cables from the dish. May give that a go to see if that helps.

The signal levels on the cables are great. One is 90-95% and the other is 95-100% so no issues there.

I've had this a few times. A planner rebuild stops stops it from happening so i now do them monthly. I don't think there's any way to get the recording back. Seemed to happen mostly when the box was close to being full for long periods.
