    Hi all,
Have a query regarding connecting at Heathrow - I'm arriving at LHR at 12.00 my BA connection is at 3.40 to another eu destination with luggage not checked through and I have heard about severe delays at T5 security. Will I comfortably have enough time?

Often done it in 50 mins, with luggage checked through.
Just don't dilly dally, and if the delays are long at security, point out to the 'ushers' that advise you which lane to go in, and the will jump you through the que.

Some people try barge themselves, and all it does is gets peoples back up. Every one there has flights to catch !

    Good luck !

    Top tip !
When I have connections to make like that (especially over lunch) I try bring a subways with me. Never had a problem bringing it through security. You can eat in lounge or on the plane at your leisure. Saves 15 minutes of your valuable connection time.

Thanks for the advice I'm travelling on a Saturday so it may be less busy than during the week. Heard about there being 3hr security wait at Heathrow that got me really concerned.
Another question will I be permitted to exit my BMI flight by the back door and straight on to the connections bus?

You will have plenty of time. The link below is a guide re travel between terminals at LHR & might be usefull.
Dont know about exiting BMI by rear door. Have done this a few times with Aer Lingus when bags were checked thru ouside of EU. Very handy to be dropped off at flight connection centre to catch the bus to Terminal you fly from.

Not if you have to collect/re-check your bags.
