Am looking for advise on areas in Ibiza.

Heading there in July and am looking on advise on what would be a good area to stay in?

we are a group of 6 in our thirties, looking for good oubs and nice food close by?

any help would be appreciated, stayed inPlaya den Bossa last time and thought it was a bit quiet and not great variety in pubs and restaurants

San Antonio is your best bet. Just home since late Tuesday from there, again a group of 30+ girls and we had a great time. Not into the clubbing scene these days but there are loads of bars and disco bars plus fab eateries around. We stayed in a villa (villa maria) in Can Tomas which was costing us around 8 euro in a cab each way (for 3 ppl, the other 3 stayed in a hotel in san an itself) whenever we came into San An but for us it was worth it as we had the private pool etc.

It all depends what you're into but if good restaurants and bars are your priority I'd look at staying in Ibiza town itself. There's great variety there and the old town and the marina area are really nice to wander around. Plenty of nightlife too of course. It's probably a bit more expensive than San Antonio but worth it imo.
