A319 moving to SNN (heads up)

    EI-EPS is en-route to SNN on EI387 having been operating the BFS-LHR shuttle most of today.

    Its done on flight cycles or hours flown. The a check is done the most, I dont think aer lingus do a b check dues to whatever way they plan their maintenance. The c check is every 2 year or so and I think aer lingus sell the aircraft before d check?

    The older A320/321s must have had D checks at this stage (being up to 14 years old).

    There's a big age jump between these (6 remaining I think, 3 of each) and the next oldest so I can only assume that EI actually owns these ones outright whereas a fair few are leased.

    I think that sounds right. The first A321's arrived in 1998, with the first 4 A320 in 2000-2001. They are now down to 3 of each left in the fleet. So makes sense that these are owned and they are trying to sell them and/or getting the most life out of them.
