Crime & Investigation - is it available in SD on UPC?

    Have seen all that 'in your face' advertising for some new crime series on Crime & Investigation but the channel appears to be available in HD only on UPC (225) - is this correct?

    I live in an area where UPC do not yet offer HD or phone services.

    For reasons I have no idea about, its only on UPC HD. Go figure, Sky have an SD version.

    You could order a HD box from UPC, without paying the €5 per month HD subscription if u really want the channel. It broadcasts from 8pm as it timeshares with Bio. HD

    I can't order a HD box because UPC don't offer HD where I live.

    That wouldn't help. If you have a HD box but no HD subscription the only HD channel you can access is RTÉ Two HD. The others require the HD subscription.
