Hi. As above can anyone here recommend a good (and reasonable) Indy mechanic in limerick (castletroy, castleconnell, annacotty area). New to the area. Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

I don’t know anybody in that area, I always use Rory Browne in Ballyneety. Always a great service.

Thanks folks. Girlfriends car was making funny noises as she called it this morning. Will have a look myself later. Is that guy behind kilmurray any good? Have you used him?

If you're looking for cheap job done by foreigners then Suleb on the ballysimon road, think it's called S&G motors. i wouldn't be sending in anything overly expensive but he's decent enough and very reasonable for most jobs, especially diagnosing problems. Did a head gasket on a diesel for me for €350 labour. All the taxi's go in there.

I know a guy perfect for you. Well, it's a little further out, he is based in Newport, but it's only a 10-15 min spin for you. I've used him for 5 years and have passed a few mates onto him. An uncle of mine used to work with him so I got in touch through him. Very reasonable and doesn't take the p1ss like some can. Let me know if you want his details!

I've used Eamonn Regulary over the years, asking him to have a look & diagnose shouldn't cost you anything / much, after that he should be able to give you a price for any work, it's up to you then
