If you drop out of second year of a level 8 course and had been receiving a grant for the 2 years, is it possible to start a level 7 course from scratch and receive the grant for it, considering the level drop?

Have you ever done a level 6 before? If not you should get a grant. However if you complete your level 7 and decide to start a new level 8 you will not get any grants.

No you wouldn't get a grant for the first two years and you'd have to pay fees for the first two years too.
