    Chris Horner carries a spare tubular and pump with him at all times.

    Why? The article portrays it as Horner being his own man and breaking the mould by doing this. Surely in the pro peloton with a team car behind him it's just a cranky ould fella making a point. Why in god's name would he carry a spare tubular and either risk dehydration or have a domestique do twice the trips for bidons. Maybe he really, really doesn't trust the team car not to drive past him when he punctures, I don't get it.
