Is this available in Ireland yet or are they still trying to get rid of the old 46cc 346xps? Might have to go across the water for this one.

I find myself having impure thoughts about one too! :D

Pretty speedy to sned a tree:

That said, I've used a 346 a few times, and it's a very nice saw too.

Yeah mate, used a 346 NE (50cc) myself and it's a vicious little saw! and this replacement is supposed to be even more savage and faster. Have been reading reviews of this 550 and I want one badly:D Did you see any here yet Rovi? Need to make a few calls tomorrow. My ms260 is worst for wear and I'm thinking of treating myself;) Not sure how the Autotune is working for people yet on the longer term. I know the 560 had some problems at first but they might have sorted them on the slightly later 550. I think it's later anyway.

    Goddamn!!!

Just the job for a bit of aerial work or some light snedding :D

I also notice the absence of a helmet (and faceguard) and the wearing of what appear to be ordinary denim jeans, which lead me to suspect that his gloves and boots likely aren't up to code either. :(
YouTube is full of 'chainsaw' videos featuring people wearing what might as well be a Speedo and a pair of flip-flops. Insane stuff, if you ask me. :(

Yes cant imagine why people mess around with insufficient PPE with saws like this one, (or any saw for that matter) went through the wood like butter and just imagine what it would do to flesh and bone.

My big one is an 044 with a short bar for that extra bite, just keeps on going and going :D:D

Hi Dipper, did you have have any problems with the autotune in the 560? What's it like to start when warm or was it a sound saw out of the box. Am thinking of getting the 560 instead of the 550 now myself as they need to be tuned by husqvarna unless they give the hardware to owners down the road. Really want a 550 but as it's not tuneable by owner could be a problem later having not purchased from an Irish dealer:confused: What did you pay for the 560 if you don't mind me asking:)

Well the 560 has autotune!! Honestly dont know K9, the Boss bought it! But it defo worth every penny, power to weight ratio is just unreal, its got serious grunt!! Its got so many features that are so well thought, like the nuts to release the side casing are on lugs in the casing so can never be mislaid on the job.. its just unbelievable!! Possibly the best saw iv ever used!

Good to hear that about the 560. :D Would it be suitable for forestry felling and limbing all day or should I wait for the 550 I wonder? Heard great things about the later auto tune saws. The first ones gave alot of trouble warm starting and not revving out right. They seem to have it sorted now though.

Yeah the 550 is replacing the 346xp and the 560 replaced the 357xp. Might wait for the 550 but that 60cc 560 is supposed to be the king when it comes to power to weight, will even pull a 24" bar convincingly.
