    right lads can someone give me some advice here i want the PC to be as Future proof as possible would i be better off going for a 2011 socket than a 1155 ??
    ignoring the actual cost

    Socket 1155 is much better for gaming, the 3770k also beats the i7 3820 so the only reason to go with it is to wait for Ivy Bridge-E.
