Crazy Westport Hotel Prices??

is it just me, or is it reeeally expensive to stay in westport? Looking to stay tomorrow night, a Tuesday, and can't get a double room in the town for less than 90eur for 2 ppl. Simple enough request, would like a pool and a double room. Have rang about 4 places just now, all with availability, one place with 10 rooms still available, I offered 70eur to each place and they all said no! got accommodation in the UK 2 weeks ago, 39eur b+B in a hotel with pool.

But yes hotels in Westport are expensive. Its the only place in Ireland where their average spend has rose in the last 3 years.
My option is they are actually operating a cartel.

All the hotels and tourism people here are constantly whinging and bitching about lack of tourism and trade.
