I use the mark 4 for rats and the mark 6 for mink . I got mine of mceoin in dingle, found him sound to deal with, rang him in the morning and had my traps the following day.

    +1 for maceoins,
great service but be careful and shop around as they can be a bit pricey.
I ordered 4 squirrel and 5 rabbit live traps for work late one afternoon and had them delivered by lunch time the next day :)

The mark 4 are great for rats I have a few I set every now and then around the yard. Even caught a stoat in one once.
Might want to bury them in a shallow pit for a while and let them rust over or hang them outside somewhere. I find you always catch more when they are rusted a bit and placed in a tunnel box.

Tried it, to be honest they dont work as well as the mark 6. Better off using the right trap and killing the animal cleanly. No point risking maiming it. Have had squirrels trying to chew limbs off trying to get out of the trap :(

    Use a mark 6 ;)

I'm donating mine to the RSPCA :p

I got my Kania, Bodygrips, and MK 6's second hand off a UK site. I got the MK 4's off McEoin.

Just need to dye and wax the mk 4's now, already degreased them.
