I just caught the last 10 minutes of this but it did look quite good. I also enjoyed seeing the spitfire gun blasting into life after 70 yrs.

At the end of the show they showed a brief clip of the next episode. It seems to be about a dive at Malin head where there are a lot of Sherman tanks beneath the water, which were destined for D-Day. I believe it may also feature U-Boats sank off the Irish coast.

I have a friend living up there who has dived few of the wrecks - the Laurentic is quite popular but he has been talking about the others with tanks etc on them. Not sure if he has dived them though.

A group up there raised a big gun of the laurentic a few years ago - I think you can see it in Downings now.

Managed to record it, very impressive, and looking forward to the rest of the series i have to say.

Was amazing the way they got the Spits machine gun to fire at the end :)

Looking forward to the last episode, Chris Nickle one of the research team contacted me about one or two things relating to the shows and I put him in touch with an ex shipmate of my father's (Tex Basely) his interview is part of the last show on Monday night.

Heading over Tuesday afternoon. A short trip this year. I'm on a plane from Caen to Warsaw on the evening of the 6th.
