    Just wondering if someone could explain how class 1 and class 2 in a golf society is determined??

    Really depends in the society & the range if handicaps. One society I play with have 3 classes.

    Class 1 - 0-12
    Class 2 - 13-18
    Class 3 - 19 upwards

    Again that will change depending on numbers,but is their general rule of thumb

    JAysus , your running out of handicaps (lol) :D

    Look societies can have their own rules , that is very high. Class 3 must be for over a handicap of 50.
