Local SIM for data access in Turkey

    Hi All,

We are heading to Marmaris, Turkey in a couple of weeks and I'm looking into my options in relation to internet access over there.

I know there are lots of places with free WiFi access, but I'd prefer to be able to use it in the apartment if possible. The cheapest roaming rate I can find is ~50c/MB which is still pretty high for general browsing.

I've been looking into buying a prepaid sim over there (my phone is unlocked) and using some sort of daily rate if it were available, but the operator websites only talk about the more profitable roaming service in the English language areas.

Does anyone have experience of doing this? or other suggestions?
