Cheers man,Its not my car (fortunately) but the lad that owns/owned it put a lot of work in to it, just annoys me how wee scummers think they can just take what they like.
Hopefully create enough awareness so it makes it impossible for the thieves to drive around in it but its probably already half stripped down into parts

Unfortunately they seem to be targetting Civics a lot, Friend of mine had his civic stolen not too long ago.

    Hope you find it mate.

It turned up in Bellewstown pub carpark in co meath, sitting parked up with the doors wide open, don't think anything was stolen off it or any damage,
    Happy ending for once :D

Heres a pic of the guards at the car,you might need a facebook account to see it though

I think all the fuss on the internet spooked the thieving scum in to dumping it.... got to love the power of the internet:D

Nice one! If your mate has invested alot of cash into this a clifford alarm or similar would be a good idea now

I dont know if even a good alarm can stop them if they really want a car theyll get it is the sad truth. A cousin of mine had his Type R Civic stolen a few months ago, they moved two other cars out of the driveway to get at his and managed to get past the kill switch. Car was enver found so can only presume it was stripped down.

Glad to hear the car the op posted about was found though, always good when these have a happy ending.

Seeing as they parked in a pub carpark, hopefully they will be caught from CCTV

Stealing a car that stands out that much is just stupid anyway especially if its stolen for a robbery etc. Glad to hear its back

thats what i said in ther forum too.

its stupid to steal a yellow car as it will be hard to shift panel parts and body kit etc. might have been just a joyriders.

Who in their right mind would steal that jaysusin thing? Must have seen their reflection in the pub windows while driving by, and dumped it there.

I would be highly surprised if it was stolen to be used in a robbery. It would stand out too much. It wouldn't have been robbed to break for parts either, as yellow isn't a common colour for the ek9 so while they would have been able to sell engine, suspension, interior etc.....they would have been left with the complete shell. This only leaves 2 options: 1. Taken for a joyride. 2. Robbed to export. I would say it was option one though, as I can't see much profit in exporting an ek9
