EWTN Change of Frequency

    Satellite signal change

    New frequency for EWTN as follows:
    Freq: 11260
    Symbol Rate 27500
    Polarity V

    3 May: Important announcement for viewers receiving EWTN with their own dish and receiver.

    On 15 May, Globecast, the company that carries EWTN’s satellite signal, will be moving the channel to another location. This change is beyond our control and applies to the Eurobird satellite only. The Hotbird satellite is not affected.

    If you view EWTN on Sky or BBC Freesat this change does not affect you, and you do not need to take any action.

    However, if you receive EWTN with your own dish and receiver you will need to reconfigure the signal settings. The new satellite signal will be broadcast beginning on 3 May, and the old satellite signal will be discontinued as of 15 May.

    Viewers with your own dishes and receivers, please retune your receivers between 3-15 May.

    I had to retune that in for somebody today. The PQ on that channel is atrocious!

    Truthfully byte if I was highly religious then that channel which has broken my heart over the yrs would have turned me rite off, must be the fifth time they have changed frequency in the last few yrs and they have never made the PQ any better which is a shame as its so popular.....

    I tuned in with this frequency, and it's not EWTN. It's a Sky Line box. Am I doing something wrong?

    The frequency given here should work & will find 8 other free tv stations along with EWTN.
