strange how a show pulling in 10 million viewers every sunday can get cancelled, they say its gets more expensive to make these shows the longer they go on, why dont they just make everyone take pay cuts, its not like someone else is gonna pay them that kind of money on a brand new show, if i were in there shoes id take a paycut to keep making the show, and dam it you get to live in miami while making millions and working maybe 4 months out of the year, what a deal,

TBH i liked watching it, but realistically it wont be missed,

Miami was by far the poorest of the three.

David Caruso's Horatio was too unbelievable a character (mumbly, uber cool, could do no wrong, walkes away slowly from imminent explosions) and the blonde female lead couldn't act.

This has nothing to do with viewership, friday night ad's bring more $$$$$$ than sunday night ones. Writing was on the wall as far as Horatio last season being almost a background Brass/Trip/Flack chatacter?

I actually expected him to be gone and the series to go on based on how little a role he played this season.

Much as I rip on miami , new york was the poorer of the 2 for the last 2 season imo and thats saying something given how bad miami can be but I had a fondness for it all the same, NY just doesn't have the same so bad it's good vibe, it's just not that good anymore.

Up until 2 season ago I would have said and did call for miami to be canned vs NY but not today :(

Anyway neither show has the supporting cast to carry it while a new big name comes in ala Fishbourne and Danson, CSI LV has been as good as it ever was almost when they came aboard even with Marge leaving it this year and bigger roles for the others.

I'm a huge CSI (all 3!!) fan, I thought the earlier Miami episodes were great, season9/10 were pure ****e. Terrible story-lines. I will miss this show but i'm glad they stopped now.

I never liked CSI NY, Miami was far better IMO. Sad to see it go but they'll probably show re-runs till the end of time now!
