How to strengthen a weak/low voice?

    Hi,
Not sure if I'm in the correct forum (there didn't seem to be any other one that was relevant).
So, I'm 30years old female. I have always had one of those soft low voices. It never really annoyed me when I was younger. But these days, it really bugs. I find myself running out of breath when I speak, and to be heard I feel like I have to take a massive deep breath. I notice that other people have much stronger voices naturally. When out in a noisy environment eg. pub, it's an absolute nightmare. To participate in conversations I nearly have to shout, and more often than not my sentences are shortened because I can't get speech out at the right volume... Conversations are really stunted at times.

I think I'm probably not alone on this, I know or two other people who have similar low voices. however, I would like to do something about it if possible.

So, it would be great to get advice from anyone who can help point me in the right direction? Do I need to just put up with it, or is there any help I could seek, elocution lessons perhaps (can adults get this, thought it was mainly for kids??). I actually even thought singing lessons might be a option, principle the same, no? (and it would be nice to be able to sing a little bit, I can't sing at all at the moment?).

    Thanks for reading.
