Reporting abuse on psn?

My son has started playing Ps3 online games. He has been sent a number of abusive text messages to his psn inbox.
Is there a way to report this Sony?

I don't know if you can report them but you can certainly block them so they can't continue sending messages. Go to the inbox, find the offending message and instead of opening it, press Triangle. That'll bring up a list of options. Go for the one that says block. They won't be able to send further messages.

hi as far as i know you go to abusive message you are reporting and press triangle and scroll down should be an option called grief report press x on it and follow intructions from there, never used myself, or theres also an option to block that persons messages by going to the message scroll to add to block list.

Oh, please. If you're going to play with the trolls at least be original. For example, a guy once gave out to me on Battlefield 3 because I would not be an accessory to his spawn-killing even though I was gunner for his helicopter.

His argument was that not spawn-killing was stupid as I was giving the other team a chance to fight back and shoot us down. He asked me "if you were a real helicopter gunner, would you let a Taliban helicopter take off so it would be "fair"?"

You know what I said? No, I didn't slag his mother. I said "The Taliban don't have helicopters". He was so infuriated that I still laugh just thinking about it. That is far more satisfying than sending a message that says "your mum".

So send it in between matches! Believe me, if they're stupid enough to send it in the first place then they'll reply again regardless of how long you make them wait.
