Ive been living away from Ireland for last while and canceled most the sky package.

At the moment the family just have entertainment extra and a plus box which costs 40 odd altogther.

So come August im gonna want the sports channels back and will probley need the multi room as well ill probley even need that for the Euros next month.

So my question is what is the best value package out there for the football ?

I already have sky hd and sky plus box at home so im thinking most straight forward thing to do would be to just upgrade back to the sports pack come August.

Is there any other cheaper options though?
If i can somehow save money and find another way to watch the football i will........

Have you the option of UPC in your area?

If so what services are available (they vary from location to location)

If unsure ring UPC. They have MMDS in some non cabled areas. Ring them on 1908 and give them your address. While not normally as good as Sky they may be cheaper.

Ya i have broadband and phone with UPC so tv be no problem. My girlfriend has tv with upc the box kinda does my head in so i dunno if id go with them even though they are cheaper.

Would it not be awkward having to switch everything around as well?

    get freesat/saorview for free tv

get the sky go monthly ticket for pay tv sports as you are not tied to a 12month s contract or maybe Sky's Now tv might be another option also
