I had the same problem with mine. I actually took apart the button and there is 3 wires connecting the button.

I desoldered the 3 wires and then did the same with the spare button and soldered the good button on. Saved me having to rip apart the dash.

The button is plugged in to the box in the dash so yes you can change them but there is a bit of ripping involved..

They are cheap enough but I would not recomend them as they can give issues with newer smart phones. You are better of with a Parrot kit if you are buying a new one.

sort of rememebr that but cant remember where I was or what I was in....

when I bought my latest motor (a modern one...only 8 years old:D) it had a kit but no code and I got that info from the Nokia Forum and it was spot on.

    Hi there,

If you are good, and have a good small soldering iron head, yes, however, if you are able to remove and reinstall, it would be the best option due to the fact, if the van has been wired up and is on a constant, you could easily trip the two soldered off each other, and could damage the button, or worse short out the control box. So removing the battery cable would be a suggestion.

Just a tip, if it was me, discard it and replace it.

    Stephen
