Just to confirm it is a hard case??
Link says it is but picture unclear.

It is a 'hard bag', so it is a plastic shell covered in nylon material. Its hard to explain, I wouldn't call it a full hard case but it offers much more protection than a bag as the exterior is solid plastic.

Misleading description in my opinion. 'Case' = hard. I was interested until that question was raised - I didn't spot it and would have felt conned to be honest if i'd committed to buying.

Fair enough, maybe you should have read the description in the link I provided. It is a solid plastic 'box' covered in nylon. It has a solid structure and is not a bag, cannot be folded.
I would call it a case, is it as solid as a bikebox alan case? no.

As for 'conning' you into buying anything, its not as if I am expecting you to transfer money via western union before looking at it. Anybody is welcome to inspect it before deciding to purchase or not.

    Anyway, based in Celbridge.

Fair enough - I'm not going to get into a pi€€ing contest on this one but I did say if I'd 'commited to buy' - the ad said nothing about 'subject to nspection'. Maybe 'conned' was the wrong word but I was interested and I'd have been pretty sore if I'd 'bought' it. Nuff said.

In that case it's just as well that you registered no interest or didn't ask a single question about it before showing your disgust at how misleading I had been.

OP linked to manufacturer' description. It's open to anyone to offer "subject to inspection". Anyone making an unconditional offer needs to do their own due diligence, and not expect the OP to try and anticipate what questions you may wish to ask. That's why we allow discussion of ads (and indeed require all discussion to take place in-thread, making it a level playing field for all interested parties)

    Now let's leave it there

    Thanks
