At the square in Lisdoonvarna drive down St Brendan's Rd between the Spar and Ritz bar. Half mile down the road you come to a bridge. On the left the river flows underground most of the year and you can see the dry river bed. The well is situated somewhere on the right bank of the river and can be accessed just past the bridge. It is supposed to be a cure for female infertility according to the Book of the Burren.
