Do I need to get a Snow Foam Lance?

Having recently seen some videos on Youtube, as well as a number of photos on this site showing Snow Foam, I've decided to give it a go!

The problem is, I'm not sure whether or not I need to get the lance. I have a Pressure Washer that has a chemical application system, but I'm not sure whether or not this can be used in place of the lance. I've taken a few pictures showing the Chemical pump, as well as the cap that attaches to the top of the washer.

I own a ProPlus Petrol Power Washer and Pump. I couldn't find anything about it online.

The chemical pump. I assume you drop it into the fluid.

    Where it's located.

The chemical cap that goes at the end of the gun.

Any help would really be appreciated. Also, If you could provide a link to a good Lance, I would appreciate it. Even better, if you could point me in the direction of a store that sells it in either Dundalk or Newry.

Try put snow foam in there and see. A stand along lance is nice because you can adjust it for how much foam to spay on the car and at what mixture.

www.detailingshed.com have a good lance IMO. They have foam too.

Yeah, I just seen a thread pointing out that snow foam required a High Pressure application. It seems like my Power Washer would only apply it at low pressure.

I'll check out that site. :)

Seeing that I'll require the Lance, I was wondering what sort of connection I should go for. It seems like they make the lance for specific models - Karcher, Bosch, and such

Take a photo of your own connection and compare it with what is available

I unscrewed the gun to see what the connection looked like. Here's some pictures.

Here's the connection at the top of the gun itself.

And here is the connection of the attachment.

It looks a tad bit like the Kranzle. I'm not entirely sure.

I think I'll go with the Kranzle.

If you give the guys at detailingshed your make and model they would have some idea of what attachment to get you I would think.
