I have been onto the seller and who said he is willing to disassemble and send in small parts in the post over a ten year period, to cut down on shipping costs. Would be perfect for Saorsat.

Any idea if the Technomate TM-2600 Diseqc motor will drive this ?

It'd be grand with an Inverto Black Premium LNB. Might get a few ADM Sports channels.

@STB, you shoudl probably get that Metal Gear diseqc motor to be on the safe side.

    On a serious note:
Forget about post. Sledges or pickup truck to the Reykjavik Harbour and then hire an Irish Trawler.

Might be nice for South American (Brazilian in Portuguese?) or UHF moon bounce or DIY radio astronomy using an "ultra over clockers" cooling kit on the LNA.

I suspect it might not slip past the local Planning authority, but likely possible to get approval in a rural spot.

100 times the gain of a 110cm Triax! Possibly 200x ++ the weight. It very likely has both azimuth and elevation motors included, or at least gearboxes to allow fitting of motors about the size used on Shutter doors (but very much slower movement).

[Edit: Yes Antenna controller and "mount" are included. :) ]

Worth the investment. Sure if it doesn't receive nilesat it will still be worth a few grand with the current price of scrap:D
