Clubs/ societies in the Clonmel area

I'm looking to join a club or society but I'm not really sure whats on in the area. I really just want something to do in the evenings and maybe meet a few new people. I'm not big into sports, any suggestions? :)

Know of the Choral society but that is about it that I am aware of - think that some others post in the South Tipp Today - must check that out on Thursday myself : )

There's scouts/girl guides/Order of Malta/Civil Defence/Red Cross all good organisation whom are always looking for more volunteers and have a social side to them as well in many respects.
