    Hi all,

I'm one of those that did the 180 hour summer course before the Advanced Certificate in Agriculture came in.
So it's fair to say my formal agri-training was brief (6 weeks).

I find boards.ie very helpful for agri-related queries but are there other
ways for the relative farming novice to improve agri-knowledge. I'll be taking over farm in 2 years and while I'm working side-by-side with father now I feel I need to step-up agri knowledge going forward.

    Any helpful tips appreciated.

    Thanks

read, read and read some more on every aspect of farming and adjust accordingly to your set up. i find everyone has useful info in their own way and it should all be taken in, deciphering whats useful is the main problem. Boardsies here are a great help and ive found the help invaluable. picking an accountants brains is a major aspect of farming too so dont forget about that side.
