HTC One X battery?

I think I might be due a cheap upgrade, so I was wondering if anybody has tried the One X? My only gripe is the battery appears to be a bit crap, but maybe some recent software upgrades have sorted this out? I could always go for the reliable Galaxy S2 instead.
(no S3 yet or the other phone I wouldn't mind getting, the SE Mini Pro)

At least the S2 doesn't have "crap battery" at the top of the gripe list. Though there's hardly anything else about it as good as the HTC.
