hey folks, apologies if a similar topic has been asked on here,. im traveling to dubrovnik this september and wondering whats te easiest/best way of getting fromthe airport to our hotel. ive been advised that taxis can be somewhat expensive if the driver susses your a tourist, and picking up a fare from the airport is somewhat of a giveaway to this :) just wondering has anyone here had any good/bad experiences with taxis in dubrovnik

anyways, any advice is greatly apprecieated.

sorry meant to say the airport in dubrovnik is tiny and you will see the buses lined up right outside, i remember it was cheap, like a fiver or so

I was in Dubrovnik a few times (last time about 5 years ago) and the one remarkable thing about it was that no-one ripped you off. Kuna (local currency) can't be got outside of the country, or it couldn't then anyway, so we all went with euros. Almost everywhere will take euros and give you change in Kuna. Never once were we done in change, and we weren't always doing on-the-spot calculations! Maybe things have changed, but I really hope not. That alone made it easy to relax and get on with enjoying that fantastic city.

Long story short, I don't think a taxi will do you.
