Toblerone bars, €1.49 for 400g (THE BIG ONES!)

    Couldn't believe my eyes when I seen these Toblerone bars, (Yeah, the HUGE ones!) for €1.49 so thats 75% off the normal retail price :eek:

    There was a good few left in my local Tesco Express, (Rathcoole County Dublin)


    Unsure if its in all Tesco's , but at that price, I was sure to stock up with them alright lol:pac:

    They're not the 400g ones, they're 200g I think.

    Sold out in Greystones when I was in there yesterday at around 7.30 pm but plenty of other chocolate reduced by 75% - assume that these will also sell out quickly.

    Stopped at this shop this evening again to do lotto, still plenty on the shelf for anyone looking to stock up.

    Anyone in south Dublin could be in Rathcoole in Twenty mins or so!

    None in celbridge or maynooth this morning. Had plenty of the Cadbury cream eggs in maynooth.

    None in Bray yesterday evening, although they do have 400g dairy milk and fruit&nut bars for something like € 2.30 - not as good as the Toblerone but decent enough value!

    They're clearing out all their easter/xmas lines so all 75% off. Picked up a 330g box of lindor yesterday for 2.20!! (normally 9 or 10€) Some woman had 12 boxes of each in her trolley!!

    I know there was some issue with a few non xmas/easter products accidentally reduced too e.g. Wine gums but that was in fri so would say its sorted now.

    I got one Toberlone in Mahon today that was hidden behind something, there was one more left at 11.00 am!! However, they had loads of Cadbury Creme eggs, mini eggs and other easter small chocolate things left in the seasonal aisle next to the freezer ailse. A lot of the other chocolates mentioned on the other thread were gone or nearly gone except Terrys chocolate oranges. I have a feeling that the price will be corrected on a lot of the stuff (besides the easter stuff) very soon, doesn't make sense to have them reduced by so much!
